We hope that this Newsletter finds you well and enjoying the summer or winter!
If you can't wait to get away from the heat down under or if the
snow where you live is making you want to get out on the mountains,
Belinda is at the ready to take any bookings or answer any questions

Although we've had a little less snow than previous years, Whistler
and Blackcomb are fully open for skiing and riding and the conditions
are great. We're enjoying an unusual period of sunny weather which
makes for great days on the slopes - just see the pictures, all taken
this week!
We have very limited availability between now and the middle of
March, but if you are desperate to get out on the snow please get in
touch and we will do our best to fit you in. We still have good
availability in later March and April including the Easter holiday so
let us know your plans and we can arrange your trip.
As usual we are looking forward to sending our pros on tour to
beautiful Wanaka, New Zealand. We will be running 2 weeks of Ski /
Board Improvement in Treble Cone, from the 8th of August. Our base will
be the Edgewater Resort, located right on the shores of picturesque
Lake Wanaka. For more information have a look on our website: www.yesimprovement.com/resorts/wanaka.html. Prices are still to be confirmed but you can already reserve your space with Belinda.
Countdown to the 2010 Winter Olympics - as of this week we are now
less than a year away from the start of the Olympics in Whistler and
Vancouver. The test events running this year (bobsled, luge, ski
jumping, cross country and biathlon) have been a huge success with
spectators and the village is ready to welcome the world next year. All
the downhill events will be based out of Whistler Creekside, so if you
are interested in being in Whistler during the Olympics we may be able
to help - contact us at res@yesimprovement.com
Due to limitations on mountain access and accommodation during the
games, Yes Improvement will not be running our normal programs in
Whistler during February next year. However we do have some exciting
plans:
- Ski & Ride Improvement and an 8 week Instructor Training Course
will run from the start of the season (Nov 28th 09) through to January
23rd 2010. Bookings are already coming in so please contact Belinda if
you are interested in skiing Whistler next season.
- European Tour - at the end of January, YES will
be hitting the road to take some of our great pros on a grand tour of
Europe. Think Italy, Switzerland and France - 3 countries in 3 weeks!
The details are still to be confirmed, but please let us know if you
are interested by emailing Belinda: res@yesimprovement.com.
- Niseko - Mark Jones is currently heading back to
Canada after a fantastic 2 weeks in Japan, enjoying the powder, sushi
and sake! In 2010 we will once again be sending our pros to enjoy
the Japanese powder, this time for an extended 3 weeks in
February/March, following the European trip. Again all details are
still to be confirmed but please get in touch if you are interested and
we will keep you posted: res@yesimprovement.com.
