So you wanna ski like a pro...

The YES ski instructor training course can take you from being an intermediate skier to being a fully qualified ski instructor capable of skiing the whole mountain. You'll even learn how to teach so that you can get a job in resort and get paid to spend all day skiing.

 

How long does it take...

The courses are structured in varying lengths to match how long you've got. The longer you stay the more qualified you get:

CSIA is the Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance
CSCF is the Canadian Ski Coach Federation

Getting a job after the course...

YES has very close links with the Whistler Blackcomb ski school. So once you've passed your exams YES can help you out with an introduction and before you know it you'll be teaching for real.

Skier 1

Is the course for me?

As long as you can get down a blue run (in North America/Australia or a red run in Europe) then you are a good enough skier. You don't have to be able to do it in stlye we'll take care of that when you get here.

As for who does the course, the short answer is anybody. Whether you've just finished school, taking a gap year or taking a career break you'll be right at home with YES.
